We first got an inquiry from the Dudley family from an ad we ran on Facebook. We reached back to Mr. & Mrs. Dudley to make an introduction to find out more about what they needed and how our team, The Atlanta House Nerds Team could come up with a viable solution and an executable plan.
After having a sit down with the Dudleys, we both agreed that this would be a good relationship to establish to move forward with their search and for them to utilize our services. We made sure that we kept in constant communication, answered all of their questions, and provided an inventory of available properties that fell within their interest range. After narrowing down our search, we came down to 2 properties and then down the ‘The One’. ‘The One’ that the Dudleys knew that we should close on.
But it wasn’t without challenges. The house, ‘The One’, that they fell in love with had issues. Roof issues. So we worked with the sellers on behalf of the Dudleys to gather several estimates needed to repair the roof. And finally, we we able to get a brand new roof courtesy of the sellers! And we were even able to secure a Home Warranty. Thanks Sellers!
So after the roof was replaced, it was time to finalize the loan process where we worked with the mortgage company down to the final days up until closing so that as that process was going, we wouldn’t allow the ball to be dropped.
As the Dudleys signed their closing documents for their new home, to view the smiles on their faces, it was another reminder of why we love to do what we do. We understand that it is not just helping people buy and sell homes. It is helping to change the lives of people we have a connection with that can have an impact for generations to come.
