We first met up with the Thomas’s back in March. I can remember it like it was yesterday. We received the lead notification on a Sunday after church and Sancha was out of the country. Thank goodness my mother was in town to keep the kids while I was able to meet and show the Thomas’s a couple of houses. Usually we like to do a Buyer Consultation before going out to look at properties, but I felt that this could help someone on their journey of home ownership.
Sancha was able to sit down with the couple and from the consultation, she understood quickly that even though they were first time home buyers, they did their homework. They knew exactly what they wanted in a house (ranch style home) and they knew exactly what they wanted to spend. They came into this journey already pre-approved, but we were able to help them find the right lender for their transaction.
After the consultation, we knew that working together would be a great thing to do, and it was. The Thomas’s were very open to the process and entrusted us to help guide them along the way. This made our experience working together a good one because the experience is more of a partnership.
While we were out of town for spring break, we were able to get the assistance from one of our Solid Source Family agents (Dacko) to show the family their next home. As much as it was a vacation, Sancha remained in constant communication with the Thomas’s as well as the selling agent and lender to make sure that we could get this deal done for them.
Today I was able to smile and laugh with this young couple as they signed their closing paperwork. The same positive, and pleasant spirit they started with was the same positive and pleasant spirit they finished with. And we send many blessings their way as they settle into their new home. Experiences like this makes the late nights, long hours, up and downs all worth it.
Thank again Mr. and Mrs. Thomas for entrusting us with helping you buy your first home….
Thank you for Choosing A Nerd 🙂
